What We Do
Meet Our Founder
Humanity Act was founded by Ishtiaq Khan — a peacebuilder, restorative justice practitioner, and humanitarian whose life has been defined by service. Originally from Pakistan, Ishtiaq began his community work on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, advocating for Afghan refugees and girls' access to education long before earning his Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University.
His education did not begin in a classroom. It began in the communities that shaped him — and continues today in every circle he leads, every refugee he walks alongside, and every act of healing he helps make possible.
